We spoke to Gill Rock who told us that she has so much more energy since she started juicing…

What got you in to Juicing?

Juicing has changed my life. I have had a rather rubbish year. I experienced a molar pregnancy in July and having eaten carb after carb while pregnant, and being on various steroids, I had put on a stone and felt dreadful and lethargic.

What juice programme did you follow?

I started juicing – albeit reluctantly –  in August after recommendation from a friend. I began with the ‘7lbs in 7 Days’ plan. I found it difficult to start with, but by day 3 I felt great. By the end of the week I couldn’t believe the results! I lost a brilliant, well needed, 9lb.

Would you recommend juicing?

Absolutely. I have since become a juicing addict and I have gone on to do the 5lbs in 5 days plan and juicing is a part of my life. I juice daily and have a main meal. The benefits for me are great physically! The weight has stayed off and the energy it gives me means I can train  3-4 times week. My biggest love is how I feel mentally. After a very challenging time my mind feels clear and very positive. I can not imagine life without juicing.

If I won the lottery the first thing I would do would be to book on a juice retreat!!

What’s your favourite juice?

My fav is Juice Master’s Super Juice.

The Super Juice


  • ½ lime – peeled
  • 2 Golden Delicious or Royal Gala apples
  • ¼ pineapple
  • ¼ medium cucumber
  • ¼ ripe avocado
  • 10oz of fresh wheatgrass
  • 1 level teaspoon of spirulina
  • 1 capsule of Juice Master’s Friendly Bacteria (60 caps)
  • Ice cubes

Juicing Instructions

Juice the apples, pineapple, cucumber and lime. Put the avocado flesh into a blender along with the ice, wheatgrass, spirulina, and the friendly bacteria powder. Blend everything until smooth, pour and enjoy.
