What got you in to Juicing?
My next door neighbour (and lovely friend) Nicky. She mentioned the WBJD last year. After looking it up on Facebook I knew it would be ideal for me, so I signed up. I wanted to lose weight, but also wanted to do it in a healthy way. The detox element was perfect.
Would you recommend juicing to anyone else?
I recommend juicing to just about everyone I know – school mums, friends, neighbours, family, people on Facebook… even my clients at work! They all, without fail, love it.
What were your results?
I have done a juice detox every quarter and lost in total 20lbs over the year and continued to eat a low HI lifestyle. I have tons of energy, good skin, no more PMS and IBS and I feel amazing!
I can’t tell you how thrilled I am. Being on the juice journey with Jason & the Juice Master team has already been great. I’ve given up booze, lost weight, got my health back, helped people I know to do the same, and found a way to get my kids even more excited about eating well.
What’s your favourite recipe?
Definitely Turbo with a kick
Turbo with a kick:
Ingredients:
- 2x Golden Delicious Apples
- 1/4 medium Pineapple
- 1/2 Lime (wax-free and peeled)
- 1x handful Spinach
- 3cm chunk Cucumber
- 1/2 stick Celery
- 1cm chunk root Ginger
- 1/4 medium Avocado
- 1x small handful of ice
Juicing Instructions:
Simply juice all the ingredients except the avocado and ice. Pour the juice in to the blender along with the avocado flesh ice, blend and enjoy!
