How has juicing changed your life?

One of the most important ways juicing has changed my life is that it has helped me to consider my health properly for the first time. Not just for superficial things like my appearance, but on the more fundamental level of my mind and my well-being. Knowing that every sip is healing me and getting right into my cells is a really powerful thing. Physically it makes me feel lighter and encumbered. I have much more energy and alertness so I am able to think more clearly. Also I never feel too full or ever really hungry. This has helped me at work and with my other creative pursuits. My eczema has cleared up, and my hair and nails are stronger and in better condition. I get up earlier and go to the gym every day and I no longer need a nap in the afternoon! Its been a revelation.

How did you get into juicing in the first place?

A friend showed me a documentary on eating. I did some research online and discovered Jason Vale. It all made so much sense. That evening I ordered some of his books and a juicer. The rest is history as they say!

Would you recommend juicing to anyone else?

Absolutely! I would say that the vast majority of people would benefit from juicing. Two of my friends have already followed suit and have bought juicers. Even if people just had one juice a day instead of a meal, I am convinced it can only be a good thing. There is so much goodness in one drink. I’m not a scientist but i do know that how i feel right now is real. I’d sooner drink more vegetables and fruits than put any more steroid cream on my skin – that’s for sure.

How has Juicing changes your life?

Juicing has changed my life in the following ways: I now enjoy a juice for breakfast instead of my old usual cereal/toast. My weight has stayed off since I did the 7lbs in 7 days in July last year (apart from Christmas!); I am more aware of how much ‘processed’ food I eat, and my family eats, and have improved this for all of us. My body and mind definitely feel better when I juice, and worse when I don’t…It speaks for itself.

What is your favourite juice?

Easy – Jason’s ‘Turbo with a Kick’. Its really creamy and not too sweet – I put courgette and extra spinach in. Its awesome. I’ve had two today already!
